The volunteering projects that we currently manage operate at Matang Wildlife Centre in Sarawak and the Ketapang centre in Kalimantan, Indonesia. At both locations, we work closely in partnership with those that hold overall responsibility for the centres – in Sarawak this is Sarawak Forestry Corporation and in Kalimantan this is International Animal Rescue. Our volunteer programs aim to offer a noticeable benefit to the centres they are based at, while not placing a strain on or really asking anything of our partners. Though we have close collaborations with our partners at both sites, we are also trusted to operate independently and complete works that facilitate the progression of the centres.
